TITLE
Resolution further amending Resolution No. 876, effective December 29, 2010, as further amended by Res. 166, effective March 11, 2011, entitled “Resolution authorizing the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh to submit an Application to the Pennsylvania Office of the Budget for a Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program grant of up to $500,000 $750,000 for the Schenley Place project by increasing the amount of the grant to $1,750,000. (Council District 8)
BODY
Whereas, by Resolution No. 876, effective December 29, 2010, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh authorized Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh (“URA”) to submit an application to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Office of the Budget (the “Commonwealth”) for a grant under the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (“RACP”) in the amount of $500,000 for the Schenley Place project (the “Project”); and

Whereas, by Resolution No. 166, effective March 11, 2011, URA was authorized to amend the application to increase the grant by $250,000 to $750,000; and

Whereas, the Commonwealth has increased the grant by an additional $1,000,000 to $1,750,000, which requires an amendment to Resolution No. 876, as amended, to reflect the increased grant;

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1. Section 1 of Resolution No. 876, effective December 29, 2010, as amended by Resolution No. 166, effective March 11, 2011, which currently reads as follows:

“The Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh is hereby authorized to file an application with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Office of the Budget for a grant under the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program of up to $500,000 $750,000 for the Project.”

is hereby amended to read as follows:

“The Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh is hereby authorized to file an application with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Office of the Budget for a grant under the Redevelopment Assistance Capi...
