Title

Resolution authorizing and directing the City Controller to create a special trust fund to be designated as the Carnegie Library Tax Refund Trust Fund to be used exclusively for the issuance of refunds of Library Tax collected by the City on behalf of the Carnegie Library.

Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.      The City Controller is hereby authorized and directed to create a special trust fund to be designated as the Carnegie Library Tax Refund Trust Fund for the purpose of depositing and maintaining in reserve a portion of the Library Tax collected annually by the City on behalf of the Carnegie Library, which monies shall be used exclusively for the issuance of refunds of Library Tax, as per agreement between the Treasurer and the Carnegie Library.

Section 2.      This Resolution shall become effective January 1, 2013.
