Title

Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follow:

Section 1. The Mayor and the Deputy Director of the Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security are hereby authorized to enter into a Grant Agreement with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to receive grant funds to purchase a Rescue Hovercraft and two replacement motors for the City's River Rescue Boats.

The Grant Agreement shall be approved as to form and substance by the City Solicitor and monies shall be deposited into 2013 River Rescue: JDE Job Number 2129400094.50000.00, budget year 2013.


Section 2. The Deputy Director of the Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, is hereby further authorized to enter into agreement or agreements, contract or contracts, and to make all legitimate expenditures required under the terms and conditions of the Grant Agreement with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Department of Homeland Security outlined in Section 1 of this resolution. Said agreement or agreements, contract or contracts, or expenditures shall not exceed two hundred sixty seven thousand, five hundred and thirty two dollars ($267,532.00) chargeable to and payable as follows:

$200,649.00 from 2013 River Rescue: JDE Job 2129400094.50000.00
