Be it resolved that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
The Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby endorses the request for approval of an inter-municipal transfer of a restaurant liquor license, License No. R-9623, from GM Lutsko, Inc. - 1212 Crawford Avenue, Duquesne, PA. 15110 to Applicant The Cure Restaurant, LLC.- 5536 5336 Butler Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15201 (Lawrenceville) into the premises to be known as The Cure Restaurant, pursuant to amended Pennsylvania Liquor Code, §4-461
Section 2. Request for Approval
Applicant The Cure Restaurant, LLC - which has the mailing address of 5536 Butler Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15201 (Lawrenceville), submitted a request for approval of an inter-municipal transfer of a restaurant liquor license, License No. R-9623, which is currently, registered to GM Lutsko, Inc. - 1212 Crawford Avenue, Pittsburgh PA. 15110 desires to place a restaurant liquor license into the premises known as The Cure Restaurant - 5536 5336 Butler Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15201 (Lawrenceville). The proposed interior of the premises is a Restaurant business containing 50 seats of floor area.
Section 3. Public Hearing
City Council shall set a date for a Public Hearing for the purpose of receiving comments and recommendations of interested individuals residing in the City of Pittsburgh concerning The Cure Restaurant, LLC - 5536 5336 Butler Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15201 (Lawrenceville), intent to the above liquor license.
Section 4. Approval or Denial of Request
After the Public Hearing which was held January 29, 2013, and within 45 days of the introduction of this Resolution, City Council shall render a decision to approve or disapprove the request of The Cure Restaurant, LLC - 5536 5336 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15210 (Lawrenceville), for inter-municipal transfer of a restaurant liquor license. City Council must approve the The Cure Restaurant, LLC request unless it finds that approval would adversely affect the welfare, health, peace and morals of the City of Pittsburgh or its residents.
