Resolution providing for the acceptance by the City of Pittsburgh from Rose J. Williams of certain property in the 2nd Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, being parcel 25-P-87 for public purposes as part of the Bigelow Greenway at no cost to the City of Pittsburgh.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor, the Director of the Department of Finance and the Director of the Department of Parks and Recreation, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to accept a deed from Ms. Rose J. Williams certain property in the 2nd Ward of the City of Pittsburgh designated as Block 25P, Lot 87 in the Deed Registry Office of Allegheny County, for public purposes, in fee simple and at no cost to the City of Pittsburgh.
The Property described as follows:
All that certain lot or piece of ground situate in the 2nd Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, County of Allegheny and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, being Lot No 271 in the Jones, Jeremy and Scully Plan of Lots as of record in the Recorders Office of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania in Plan Book Volume 4, Page 152, founded and described as follows:
BEGINNING on the Southeasterly line of Brereton Street 20.0 feet Northeast from the corner of Humboldt Street and Brereton Street at a point on the dividing line between Plan Lot 272 and 271; thence Southeast a distance of 92.0 feet to a point on Kenney Way; thence Northeast along Kenney Way a distance of 20.0 feet to a point on the dividing line between Plan Lot 271 and 270 in said Plan; thence Northwest a distance of 92.0 feet to a point on the Southeasterly line of Brereton Street; thence Southwest along Brereton Street a distance of 20.0 feet to a point at the PLACE OF BEGINNING. Containing 1,840 Square feet of area.
BEING designated as Block & Lot No. 25-P-87 in the Deed Registry Office of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
