• Title: NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize Ralph P. Watson and Classic Events! for promoting youth entrepreneurship and business development; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare September 21 to be “Youthpreneur Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.

WHEREAS, On Friday, September 21^st at 5:30pm Classic Events! will host a Youthpreneur Business Network Mixer at Hosanna House in Wilkinsburg; and

WHEREAS, Youthpreneur provides students the opportunity to build their networking and entrepreneurial skills as they serve as vendors, promoting their business ideas and sharing strategies; and  

WHEREAS, working in conjunction with Hosanna House, Ralph P. Watson of Classic Events! formed the Youthpreneur program to offer a unique networking venue for young entrepreneurs interested in starting or expanding a business; and

WHEREAS, the small businesses that Youthpreneur will highlight bring vibrancy to the local economy by creating jobs and improving neighborhoods; and

WHEREAS, the Youthpreneuer mixer is free and open to the public.
