Resolution vacating a portion of Mary Street at South 33rd Street in the 16th Ward, 3nd Council District of the City of Pittsburgh.

WHEREAS, it appears by the petition and affidavit on file in the Office of the City Clerk that the owners of all the property fronting or abutting on the line of Mary Street in the 16th Ward, 3nd Council District of the City of Pittsburgh, have petitioned the council of the City of Pittsburgh to enact a resolution for the vacation of same, and
WHEREAS, said petition contains inter-alia, an indemnification of the city from any claims and from the payment of any damages whatsoever resulting to any properties owned by the petitioners or by and persons whatsoever, abutting or non-abutting, for or by reason of said vacation; therefore
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. That vacating a portion of Mary Street, as located in the Mrs. M.C. Varner's Plan of Lots, Plan Book Volume 11, Pages 69, Allegheny County, adjacent to Lots 8, 9 and 10, and described as follows:
Beginning at a point of the southeast corner of Mary street, 60 feet wide, between Lots 7 and 8 N46°25" W for a distance of 72' to a point; thence N43° 35'E a distance of 30 feet to a point in the centerline of Mary Street; thence along such centerline S 46° 25'E a distance of 72' to a point; thence in a southerly direction S 43° 35'W a distance of 30' to the place ot the beginning; containing 2160 square feet. Also reserving the right of easement of a 15" sewer line and 4" and 6" water lines located therein, in the 16th Ward 3nd Council District of the City of Pittsburgh as described above shall be and the same is hereby vacated.
