Resolution authorizing the execution of a cooperation agreement or agreements with the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh in which URA will make a grant to the City of $3,000.00 per year for five years to pay maintenance costs of the Washburn Square open space park; cost not to exceed $15,000.00. (Council District 1)

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works are hereby authorized to enter into a cooperation agreement or agreements with Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh ("URA"), in form approved by the City Solicitor, pursuant to which URA will make a grant to the City of up to $3,000.00 per year over a five year period beginning in 2012, for a maximum grant of $15,000.00, to be used by the City to pay part of the cost to convert Broad Street to two-way traffic. The funds will be deposited into the following account:

Section 2. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement or agreements, or use of existing agreements and/or a contract or contracts or use of existing contracts, in form approved by the City Solicitor for the maintenance of Washburn Square open space park in accordance with the terms and conditions of the agreement with URA described in Section 1 of this resolution. Said agreements or agreements shall not exceed $3,000.00 per year for five years for a maximum amount of $15,000.00, chargeable to and payable from the following account:
