Resolution authorizing the Mayor and Director of City Planning to execute relevant agreements to receive grant funding to support the completion of an economic study of the economic benefits of historic preservation in the City and further providing for an agreement and expenditures not to exceed fifty thousand ($50,000) dollars for this stated purpose.


Body
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of City Planning of the City of Pittsburgh are authorized to execute relevant agreements with the Pennsylvania Museum and Historical Commission in order to receive a grant award of twenty-five thousand ($25,000) for the completion of a study of the economic benefits of historic preservation in the City. The Grant Agreement shall be approved as to form and substance by the City Solicitor and monies shall be deposited into the account 1129400083.45505.00.

Section 2. The Mayor and the Director of City Planning of the City of Pittsburgh are further authorized to enter into an Agreement, or Contract, or utilize existing Agreements or Contracts, in a form approved by the City Solicitor and not to exceed twenty-five thousand ($25,000) dollars, for professional services to conduct the study of the economic benefits of historic preservation in the City under the terms of the agreement between the City and the Pennsylvania Museum and Historical Commission. Said agreement or agreements, contract or contracts, or expenditures shall not exceed twenty-five thousand ($25,000) dollars chargeable to and payable from the Grants Trust Fund account 1129400083.5000.00.
