WHEREAS, Westwood Oakwood Athletic Association is wholly dedicated to providing area youth with supervised, fundamental learning experiences through baseball and softball by maintaining an active, participating membership in youth programs as administered by Westwood Oakwood Athletic Association
WHEREAS, Providing area youth with invaluable life lessons such as sportsmanship, integrity, confidence, responsibility, respect and perseverance.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby recognizes the Westwood Oakwood Athletic Association to be a civic and/or service organization within the context of the Pennsylvania Small Games of Chance Act, as amended.
