WHEREAS, the Honorable Michael Capozzoli, grew up in Oakwood where he attended Westwood Elementary, Greenway Middle School, and Langley High School; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Capozzoli, a former Councilperson in Chalfont, PA, is now a successful owner and executive producer of the film production company Capture Production Studios out of Bridgeville, PA, where his company is currently developing a movie in the country of Wales and in the city of Pittsburgh; and,
WHEREAS, Michael Capozzoli's film production company not only is filming in the City of Pittsburgh but works with Pittsburgh venues such as Pittsburgh Power, Schneider's Dairy and Iron City Beer; and,
WHEREAS, with all the hard work Mr. Capozzoli puts into his own business, he still makes time to volunteer for the Josh Gibson Foundation and the Children's Home of Pittsburgh, where Capture Production Studios donated $25,000 worth of work for the "Shake your Booties" event; and,
WHEREAS, Michael Capozzoli has also worked on political campaigns, captured a Sheraden volunteer day on video for the community and is looking forward to working with the West End Alliance CDC, and;
WHEREAS, Michael Capozzoli currently resides in the Peters Township Area with his wife Lisa and three sons William, Rocco, and Michael whom he dedicates much of his time to as well; and,

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend the Honorable Michael Capozzoli for his hard work, time and success that benefits this city, especially District 2 in many ways; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Tuesday, February 7, 2012, to be "Michael Capozzoli Day" in the City of Pittsburgh.
