Title

Resolution providing authorization for the City of Pittsburgh to receive reimbursement from The Department of Health and Human Services through the Early Retiree Reinsurance Program in the amount of $1,120,189.25.

Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.      The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Personnel and Civil Service Commission, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to receive funds from the Department of Health and Human Services as part of the Early Retiree Reinsurance Program.  The total amount receivable shall not exceed One Million One Hundred Twenty Thousand One Hundred Eighty Nine Dollars and Twenty Five Cents ($1,120,189.25) into Fund and Account 9993816000.48000.00.

Section 2.      The City Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to deposit the funds into The City of Pittsburgh Health and Welfare VEBA.
