Resolution further amending Resolution No. 575, effective October 26, 2007, entitled "Resolution authorizing the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh to submit an Application to the Pennsylvania Office of the Budget for a Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program grant in the amount of $875,000 for the Pittsburgh Zoo Water's Edge and Multi Purpose Facility project" by increasing the grant to $2,275,000. (Council District 7)

Whereas, by Resolution No. 575, effective October 26, 2007, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh authorized Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh ("URA") to submit an application to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Office of the Budget (the "Commonwealth") for a grant under the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program ("RACP") in the amount of $875,000 for the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium project (the "Project"); and
Whereas, by Resolution No. 185, effective April 23, 2009, URA was authorized to amend the application to increase the grant by $375,000 to $1,250,000; and
Whereas, by Resolution No. 665, effective September 24, 2010, the URA was authorized to amend the application to increase the grant by $750,000 to $2,000,000;
Whereas, the Commonwealth has increased the grant by an additional $275,000 to $2,275,000, which requires an amendment to Resolution No. 575, as amended, to reflect the increased grant;
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. Section 1 of Resolution No. 575, effective October 26, 2007, as amended by Resolution No. 185, effective April 23, 2009, as further amended by Resolution No. 665, effective September 24, 2010, which currently reads as follows:
"The Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh is hereby authorized to file an application with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Office of the Budget for a grant under the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program in the amount of $2,000,000 for the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium Project."
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"The Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh is hereby authorized to file an application with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Office of the Budget for a grant under the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program in the amount of $2,275,000 for the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium Project."
