(Council District 7)

Whereas, by Resolution No. 574, effective October 26, 2007, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh authorized a cooperation agreement with the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh (“URA”) in connection with URA's application with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Office of the Budget (the “Commonwealth”) for a $875,000 Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program ("RACP") grant for the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium project (the "Project"); and

Whereas, by Resolution No. 176, effective April 23, 2009, URA was authorized to amend the application to increase the grant by $375,000 to $1,250,000; and

Whereas, by Resolution No. 664, effective September 24, 2010, URA was authorized to further amend the application to increase the grant by $750,000 to $2,000,000; and

Whereas, the RACP grant has been increased by $275,000 to $2,275,000; and

Whereas, the Commonwealth requires the City of Pittsburgh to agree to reimburse it for any expenditure of RACP funds determined by the Commonwealth to be ineligible; and

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1. Section 1 of Resolution No. 574, effective October 26, 2007, as amended by Resolution No. 176, effective April 23, 2009, as further amended by Resolution No. 664, effective September 24, 2010, which currently reads as follows:
