Resolution authorizing and directing the Director of The Department of Finance to limit eligibility for the acquisition of properties through the City’s Side Yard Sale Program to residents who own and occupy property that directly abuts the vacant lot that is to be disposed.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Director of The Department of Finance is hereby authorized and directed to limit the eligibility of residents applying to acquire property through the City’s Side Yard Sale Program.
Section 2. Eligibility for the City’s Side Yard Sale Program shall be limited only to residents who own and occupy property that directly abuts the vacant lot that is available for acquisition.
Section 3. Any ordinances or resolutions, or parts of ordinances or resolutions, which are inconsistent or in conflict with this Resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of any such inconsistency or conflict.
