NEGATIVE RECOMMENDATION

Title

Resolution authorizing the City Controller to create a Special Trust Fund to be designated State Education Trust Fund (SETF) into which there shall be deposited money collected as mandated by State House Bill 1654 requiring a surcharge to be collected for each UCC building permit issued and the money remitted quarterly to the Department of Community and Economic Development to be used to subsidize code official training.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.  The City Controller is hereby authorized to create a special trust fund to be designated State Education Trust Fund (SETF) into which there shall be deposited all money collected as mandated by State House Bill 1654 and the money remitted quarterly to the Department of Community and Economic Development.
