Whereas, Maurice Lamar Walker was born to Leah Anise Lambert and Melvin Leroy Walker on January 28^th, 1992. He was raised in the Homewood Brushton area attending and graduating from Lemington Elementary School; and

Whereas, Maurice liked to do landscaping work along with playing football, basketball, and fishing with his grandmother, Jackie and grand father, Tom Lambert Maurice; and

Whereas, Although he suffered from asthma Maurice remained very positive. Maurice had an open mind and due to his thoughtfulness and generous attitude he was well liked and very successful networking with a lot of people.

Whereas, Maurice's life was abruptly taken from him on August 19, 2004 from a long battle with asthma but not before he decided to take abrasive action to change his life in a positive way with the help and influence of NAHBI Christian Ministries.
