Title

Resolution authorizing and directing the Director of the Department of General Services to report to Council on the recall of nonessential City owned vehicles.

Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.  The Director of the Department of General Services is authorized and directed to report to Council on the recall of nonessential City vehicles.

Section 2.  The report should include, but not be limited to, the number of vehicles currently required for emergency use or twenty-four hour on-call by department.  It should also include the numbers before the September 2, 2003 recall resolution and the savings realized.

Section 3.  The report is to be presented to Council no later than seven (7) days from final action on this resolution.
