• Title: NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby extend heartfelt congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. August J. Carlino on the celebration of their 50th Wedding Anniversary, and wishes them many more years of happiness.

WHEREAS, on Saturday, May 20, 2006 Mr. and Mrs. August  J. Carlino will celebrate the joyous occasion of their Golden Wedding Anniversary with a celebration of family and friends at the Edgewood Country Club; and,

WHEREAS, August J. Carlino and Amelia C. Miller were joined together in Holy Matrimony on April 21, 1956, by Father Albert Farina at Immaculate Conception Church; and,

WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Carlino both born and raised in the City of Pittsburgh, she in the Southside and he in Bloomfield, where they still reside today; and,

WHEREAS, this happy union produced two children,

August Carlino and Angela Vrabel, and four grandchildren, Zach and Cole Carlino and Camri and Julia Vrabel; and,

WHEREAS, "What God hath joined together, let no man put asunder."
