Resolution authorizing the Finance Department to enter into an agreement or agreements with a collection agency or agencies, for professional services in connection with the collection of delinquent taxes, fines, penalties, and interest for the City of Pittsburgh at a cost not to exceed $800,000.

Body

Be it Resolved that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1.                     The Mayor and Director of the Department of Finance are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement or agreements in form approved by the City Solicitor, with a collection agency or agencies for professional services in connection with the collection of various delinquent charges, taxes, interest and penalties owed to the City of Pittsburgh on an annual basis at a cost not to exceed Eight Hundred Thousand Dollars ($800,000) per year, subject to annual budget appropriation or revenue transfer, chargeable to and payable from Department of Finance – Miscellaneous Services, Fund 1000, Organization Code 107000, Sub Class 150.
