Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.  That the Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh is hereby requested by City Council to reinstate Seven (7) of the laid-off officers, at the cost of $300,000.00, utilizing "As Needed Positions" in the 2004 budget and providing for the cost of the officers using funds budgeted and identified in the following account: Amount: $300,000.00, Fund 1000, Police (Organization) 230000, Premium Pay, (Subclass 020), Budget Year 2004, Account 516000.
