Resolution providing for a Contract or Contracts, or the use of existing Contracts for the purchase of rapid intervention equipment and related accessories for the Fire Bureau at a cost not to exceed One Hundred and Forty-Eight Thousand and Nine Hundred dollars ($148,900.00) and providing for the payment thereof.

Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.      The Director of the Department of Public Safety and/or the Director of General Services, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into a Contract or Contracts, for the purchase of rapid intervention equipment and related accessories.  The total shall not exceed One Hundred and Forty-Eight Thousand and Nine Hundred dollars ($148,900.00) chargeable to and payable from Account 544700, Fund 6100, Organization 250000, Sub-Class PGHPR, Budget Year 2006, Project/Grant #2261200, Bureau of Fire, Department of Public Safety.
