• Title: NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend Norma for her continued involvement in her community and wish her a wonderful 90th Birthday; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Sunday, May 14th, 2017 to be "Norma Rothhaar Day" in the City of Pittsburgh.

WHEREAS, born on May 14^th, 1927, Norma Rothhaar is celebrating an incredible milestone this year-- her 90^th birthday; and

WHEREAS, beloved by all, Norma is celebrating surrounded by her friends, six children and too many grandchildren and great-grandchildren to even count; and,

WHEREAS, a longtime resident of the Arlington neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Norma has been active in her community for years, participating in the Meals on Wheels program, which provides nutritious meals for individuals unable to purchase and prepare their own; and,

WHEREAS, Norma stays so young and vibrant by enjoying Bingo and the card game 66 with her friends at the St. Clair Athletic Association, as well as playing Wii Bowling-all games at which she simply can’t be beat; and,

WHEREAS, an avid shopper, you can find Norma discovering Pittsburgh’s best Flea Markets, so if you are looking for hidden treasures Norma is your gal; and,

WHEREAS, we all want to wish you a Happy Birthday and just so you know, we love your earnings, Aunt Norma; and,
