Title: WHEREAS, Saturday, August 11, 2007, will mark the 100th Wedding Anniversary of Z.L. and Dora Friedman Weiss; and, WHEREAS, Z. L. and Dora were married on Sunday, August 11, 1907, in McKeesport, PA; and, WHEREAS, Z.L. and Dora lived and worked in McKeesport, during their marriage of more than 60 years; and, WHEREAS, they raised their family of 13, nine girls and four boys; and WHEREAS, there are currently 133 lineal descendants of the Weiss family, with 121 of them living; including its oldest living descendant at age 94 and its youngest at 6 weeks; and WHEREAS, four generations of Weiss family members from across the United States will be gathering for picnic and party activities to mark the 100th Anniversary of Z.L. and Dora's marriage; and WHEREAS, a book, video documentary, and photographs will be produced to commemorate the occasion. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize that the descendants of ...

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize that the descendants of Z. L. and Dora Weiss will be holding a Family Reunion on the exact date of  Z.L. and Dora's wedding, at an event at Renziehausen Park in McKeesport, PA,
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declares August 11, 2007, to be Z. L. and Dora Weiss Family Reunion Day in the City of Pittsburgh.
