Title

Resolution creating an Executive Committee on Community Based Organizations for the purpose of making awards from City Council for the distribution of the City's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds earmarked for operating support for community based organizations.

Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.  The Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby establishes an eleven member Executive Committee to be titled the "Executive Committee on Community Based Organizations" to ratify by vote recommendations from the Advisory Commission on Community Based Organizations (ACCBO). The Executive Committee shall be composed of the following members or their designees:

a)      The President of City Council

b)      Each of the eight City Council District Members

c)      The Director of the Department of City Planning

d)      The Mayor  

            SECTION 2.      The Advisory Commission on Community Based Organizations shall create formal rules and regulations authorizing its function, activities and reporting requirements.
