Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a grant agreement with the Rockefeller Philanthropic Advisors Inc. to receive $295,840 in funding to support (1) two staff positions - Senior Resilience Coordinator and Resilience Analyst within the Department of Innovation and Performance; (2) Participation in the Rockefeller Foundations 100 Resilient Cities Initiative and (3) and the development of a City-wide Resilience Plan.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Chief of Innovation and Performance are hereby authorized to enter into a Grant Agreement with the Rockefeller Philanthropic Advisors Inc. for the receipt of grant monies in the amount of two-hundred ninety five thousand eight hundred forty dollars. These funds will be used to support (1) the Senior Resilience Coordinator and Resilience Analyst (2) participation in the Rockefeller Foundations 100 Resilient Cities Initiative and (3) the development of a city-wide resilience plan. The Grant Agreement shall be approved as to form and substance by the City Solicitor and monies shall be deposited into the account number 0329400155.48311.00
Section 2. The Chief of Innovation and Performance, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, is hereby further authorized to enter into agreement or agreements, contract or contracts, and to make all legitimate expenditures required under the terms and conditions of the Grant Agreement with the Rockefeller Philanthropic Advisors outlined in Section 1 of this resolution. Said agreement or agreements, contract or contracts, or expenditures shall not exceed fifty thousand dollars ($295,840) chargeable to and payable from the JDE# 0329400155.50000.00 Budget Year 2015.
