Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.  The Solicitor of the City of Pittsburgh is authorized and directed to immediately begin discussion with Act 47 Coordinators for the purpose of establishing a similar City of Pittsburgh pension benefit to that of the former City of Pittsburgh 911 employees for all employees transferring from the City of Pittsburgh to Allegheny County employment under City-County consolidation of services in the event an Act 47 plan is implemented.
 
 
Section 2. The pension benefit agreement should include, but not be limited to, the employees of the City of Pittsburgh purchasing department and the City-County Integrated Identification Program transferring to Allegheny County.
