AFFIRMATIVE RECOMMENDED

Title

Resolution amending Resolution No. 825, approved October 25, 1996, effective November 1, 1996, entitled, "Vacating a portion of Rieseck Way between Range Way and Vulcan Way in the 22nd Ward, 1st Council District of the City of Pittsburgh".

Body

Be it resolved that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1.                     That Resolution No. 825, approved October 25, 1996, effective November 1, 1996 which presently reads as follows:

Section 1.                     That vacating a portion of Rieseck Way, 16 feet wide between Range Way and Vulcan Way and also reserving the right of easement of an 18 inch sewer line located therein, in the 22nd Way, 1st Council District of the City of Pittsburgh as described below shall be and the same is hereby vacated.

Is hereby amended to read as follows:

Section 1.                     That vacating a portion of Rieseck Way, 16 feet wide between Range Way and Vulcan Way.  The 18" sewer line located therein is hereby abandoned, provided a manhole is constructed at the westerly terminus of the remaining section of Rieseck Way sanitary sewer from Sandusky Street; and both storm and sanitary systems must be installed and connected to their separate, dedicated systems.  Sanitary can be conveyed via the existing 18" sanitary sewer in Reiseck Way and the storm flows must be conveyed to the new storm sewer system(s) in Federal Street and/or Sandusky Street via a private lateral or a dedicated public connector storm sewer, in the 22nd Way, 1st Council District of the City of Pittsburgh shall be and the same is hereby vacated.
