Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of Public Safety to enter into a Project Agreement or Agreements with FUSE Corps to host three Executive Fellows for twelve months at no cost to the City.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Safety are hereby authorized to enter into a Project Agreement or Agreements with FUSE Corps to host three Executive Fellows within the Office of the Mayor and the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police and will work with various local stakeholders to accomplish project deliverables.

 

Section 2.                     One Executive Fellow will work with the Office of the Mayor and various local stakeholders on a project entitled “Creating Pathways to High-Paying Careers for Pittsburgh’s Students.”

 

Section 3.                     One Executive Fellow will work with the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police and various local stakeholders on a project entitled “Strengthening Relationships Between Police and the Pittsburgh Community.”

 

Section 4.                     One Executive Fellow will work with the Office of the Mayor and various local stakeholders on a project entitled "Launching Diversion Initiatives to Reduce Racial Disparities in Incarceration.”

 

Section 5.                     There will be no cost to the City to participate in the Project Agreement or Agreements. All Project Agreement or Agreements shall be approved by the City Solicitor as to form.
