Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.                     The Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh and the Director of the Department of Public Works are authorized to apply for a grant from the Redevelopment Authority of Allegheny County’s Gaming Economic Tourism Fund for the Brighton Heights Healthy Active Living Center Renovation in the amount of FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND ($500,000.00) dollars for this stated purpose.
