Title

Resolution amending Resolution No. 234 of 2024 (Bill No. 2024-0291) requiring a Council vote on the Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement or Agreements between the City of Pittsburgh and Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh, and County of Allegheny, Pittsburgh Public School District and Pittsburgh Land Bank for the shared operation and administration of the Pittsburgh Land Bank.

 

Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1. The City of Pittsburgh is hereby authorized to negotiate enter into a Cooperation Agreement or Agreements, subject to final approval by Council, with the County of Allegheny, the Pittsburgh Public School District, the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and the Pittsburgh Land Bank for the shared operation and administration of the Pittsburgh Land Bank.

 

Section 2. The authorized Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement or Agreements shall be approved by the City Solicitor as to form and substance.

 

Section 3. As stated in City Code § 174A.03.k, the Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement “must specify the membership, if any, of the taxing jurisdiction on the board and the actions of the land bank Land Bank which are subject to approval by the taxing jurisdiction.”

 

I do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution duly engrossed and certified, was delivered by me to the Mayor for his approval or disapproval and that the Mayor failed to approve or disapprove the same, whereupon it became a law without his approval under the provisions of the Act of Assembly in such case made and provided.
