Title
Resolution providing for the establishment of a newly created Allegheny Regional Asset District Trust Fund (ARADTF).  The purpose of the Trust Fund is to hold in trust all monies collected from the Allegheny County Regional Asset District 1% sales tax revenue for the benefit of the Department of Parks and Recreation and the Department of Public Works.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.  The City Controller is hereby authorized and directed to create a special trust fund to be called the Allegheny Regional Asset District Trust Fund ("ARADTF") into which trust fund there shall be deposited any and all monies received from the income of revenues from the Allegheny County Regional Asset District 1% sales tax for use in the City of Pittsburgh's following parks: Frick Park, Schenley Park, Highland Park, and Riverview Park (hereinafter the "Regional Parks").  The ARADTF monies deposited in this account shall be used by the Department of Parks and Recreation and/or the Department of Public Works to cover all expenditures relating to the Regional Parks, including but not limited to an agreement or agreements or the use of existing agreements, or other approved expenditures for the payment of salaries, transfers, fringe benefits, supplies, equipment, utilities, materials, rentals, professional and miscellaneous services and any other services required in connection therewith.  All expenditures must be approved by the Directors of the Department of Parks and Recreation and/or the Department of Public Works, which departments shall have separate account numbers in ARADTF.
