WHEREAS, The Gospel Music Ministries International(GMMI) Arts Fellowship is a Pittsburgh based, interdenominational, Christian Ministry which celebrates diversity, the different talents, multi-culturalism, interracial awareness and understanding through the arts; and
WHEREAS, The GMMI Arts Fellowship activities are designed to minister to real life needs of participants, from the spiritual to the social relating to the amateur as well as the professional. The fellowship is presented in a coffee house setting with a performance stage and conducted in a television talk show format providing a forum for dialogue between the hosts, the artists and audience; and
WHEREAS, Reverend Bobby Fulton had the foresight to want to celebrate the reason for the season when the world witnessed a miracle and to lift up the hopes of the community of Homewood and the whole City of Pittsburgh for a Miracle Revival; and
WHEREAS, The "Gospel Connection" Radio Broadcast of Gospel Music
Ministries International "Home of the Church Coming to You" is presenting the First Annual "Birthday of the Year" Christmas Revival at the Pittsburgh Coliseum in Homewood on Sunday, December 28, 2003.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council in the City of Pittsburgh recognizes and commends the Gospel Music Ministries International (GMMI) Arts Fellowship for their vision, leadership and commitment to discover and mold talented young artists who have gifts in music and other creative endeavors to share with the City of Pittsburgh.
