Title
Resolution authorizing a cooperation agreement or agreements with the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh for administration of a $1,100,000 Brownfields Economic Development Initiative Grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for the renovation of Building #3 at the Lexington Technology Park in the North Point Breeze Industrial District. (Council District No. 9).

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of City Planning, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into a cooperation agreement or agreements with the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh ("URA"), in a form approved by the City Solicitor, designating URA as the City's agent for administration of a Brownfields Economic Development Initiative grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in the amount of $1,100,000 for the renovation of Building #3 at the Lexington Technology Park in the North Point Breeze Industrial District, chargeable to and payable from the following account:

Section 2. The cooperation agreement shall contain a provision obligating URA to guarantee the repayment of the HUD Section 108 loan for this project in the amount of $3,000,000.
