Title
Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Personnel and Civil Service Commission to enter into a professional services agreement or agreements with Mercy OccuNet for professional services in connection with the administration and evaluation of medical examinations and related tests and procedures for the Civil Service Commission's medical examination program for current and prospective employees for employment and promotion, and providing for the payment of the cost thereof. Cost not to exceed $100,000.00.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Personnel and Civil Service Commission, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement or agreements in a form authorized by the City Solicitor, for Mercy OccuNet to provide professional services in connection with the administration and evaluation of medical examinations and related tests and procedures for the Civil Service Commission's medical examination program for current and prospective employees. The cost of the service agreement shall not exceed One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00), payable from Fund 1000, Org 109000, Account 526100, Sub Class 150, Budget Year 2007, Department of Personnel and Civil Service Commission.
These professional services will include but not be limited to:
Pre-employment medical examinations
Promotional medical examinations
Return-to-work medical examinations
Medical Review Officer (MRO) functions
DOT and non-DOT drug and alcohol testing
Specimen collection services
