Whereas, the Pittsburgh Council for International Visitors (PCIV) located at 425 Sixth Avenue, Suite 1130, Pittsburgh, PA 15219 is a non-profit organization.
Whereas, the Pittsburgh Council for International Visitors was founded in 1959, the organization has assisted well over 70,000 emerging international leaders in connecting with the tens of thousand of citizens in Western Pennsylvania.
Whereas, the Pittsburgh Council for International Visitors is currently taking a regional lead in providing international protocol services and hosting international professionals, partnering with the World Affairs Council of education and policy.
Whereas, the Pittsburgh Council for International Visitors desires to operate a small games of chance and or conduct a raffle to generate funds to further their purpose.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby recognize the Pittsburgh International Council for Visitors to be civic and/or services organization within the context of the Pennsylvania Small Games of Chance Act, as amended.
