WHEREAS, Edward Francicus, son of Donna and Edward Franciscus, is a member of the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 66, Chartiers District, Greater Pittsburgh Council; and
WHEREAS, Edward Francicus will be honored at a Ceremony on November 22, 2004 at the Sheraden Community Presbyterian Church; and
WHEREAS, Edward Francicus earned the rank of Eagle Scout on May 15, 2003; and
WHEREAS, Edward's Eagle Scout Project involved organizing materials and volunteers to refurbish Father Connor Hall at the Church of the Ascension; and
WHEREAS, with Edward's leadership the newly painted hall has now been updated and ready for church activities and hall
rentals; and
WHEREAS, only those young men who have been outstanding in scouting, have the esteem of their community and fellow scouts and serve in a position of responsibility and leadership obtain Eagle Scout status, the highest rank in the boy scouts.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby congratulates Eagle Scout Edward Francicus on his recent achievement and commends him for his accomplishments.
