Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

SECTION 1.       The Mayor and Director of the Department of Parks and Recreation, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to disburse and administer allocated American Rescue Plan funds for Food Justice Initiatives as outlined in the use plan attached as Exhibit A.

SECTION 2.       Components of said use plan shall move through standard City of Pittsburgh legislative and procurement processes.

SECTION 3.       Said funds shall be subject to existing federal and local guidelines for the appropriate use of Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds.
