Title
Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Parks and Recreation and the Director of the Department of Engineering and Construction to enter into a license agreement with the Beechview Athletic Association to provide improvements to Lower Vanucci Field.
Body
WHEREAS, the Beechview Athletic Association ("BAA") has received grant monies from State Senator Jack Wagner to make improvements to City-owned lower Vanucci Field and Alton Field (the "Project"); and
WHEREAS, BAA now seeks a License to enter the said fields to provide these improvements; and
WHEREAS, the parties hereto wish to enter into a License Agreement for the purpose of granting BAA permission to come upon the specified fields for the aforesaid purpose.
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Parks and Recreation and the Director of the Department of Engineering and Construction are hereby authorized to enter into a License Agreement with the Beechview Athletic Association to provide improvements to lower Vanucci Field and Alton Field. The License Agreement shall be in a form approved by the City Solicitor.
