Title
Resolution providing for the issuance of a warrant in favor of the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, in the amount of $1,460.00, for interest due them for the Heritage Trail/Riverfront Park grant; and providing for the payment thereof.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to issue and the City Controller to countersign a warrant in favor of the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, in the amount of $1,460.00. The monies given to the City via a DCNR grant arrived well in advance of the date of when the monies were actually paid out. Consequently, the funds resided in the City "bank", accruing interest. The $1,460.00 figure to be paid back to the DCNR is in fact interest that has been agreed to by the City and DCNR. The City has received the value of the grant in full. Funds are available in the following accounts:
