Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.  The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to advertise for proposals and to award and enter into an Agreement or Agreements, or the use of existing Agreements in a form approved by City Solicitor, for professional services for the administration and marketing City Neighborhoods and lot clean up services in relation to educating the public on litter.  The cost of said services shall not exceed Three Hundred Fifty Nine Thousand ($359,000.00) Dollars, chargeable to and payable from Account 527900, Fund 1000, Org. 430000, Sub-Class 150,  Budget Year 2002, Amount $200,000 and Account 525500, Fund 5100, Org. 400000, Sub-Class PGHPR, Project/Grant 2220082, Amount $159,000.00, Budget Year 2002, Vacant Lot Clean Up and Maintenance Program, Department of Public Works.
