Resolution authorizing the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh to acquire all of the City's Right, Title, and Interest, if any, in and to Publicly-Owned Property known as Block 9-S, Lot 111, in the 3rd Ward of the City of Pittsburgh (Council District No. 6, 32 Manilla Street, Residential Development)

Whereas, pursuant to Resolution No. 255 effective April 8, 1977, and in the manner prescribed by the Urban Redevelopment Law, Act of May 24, 1945, P. L. 991, as amended, the Redevelopment Proposal for a part of Redevelopment Area No. 31 in the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th Wards of the City of Pittsburgh was approved; and
Whereas, the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh desires to acquire all of the City's Right, Title and Interest, if any, in and to the Publicly-Owned Property in the 3rd Ward of the City of Pittsburgh designated in the Deed Registry Office of Allegheny County as Block 9-S, Lot 111, for the sum of $1.00 plus all necessary and incidental expenses in connection with such acquisition; and
Whereas, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh believes that the aforesaid acquisition of said publicly-owned property by Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh is in the best interest of the City of Pittsburgh and desires to give approval in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Redevelopment Law.
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. That the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh is hereby authorized to acquire, for the sum of $1.00 plus all necessary and incidental expenses in connection with such acquisition, all of the City's right, title and interest, if any, in and to publicly-owned property in the 3rd Ward of the City of Pittsburgh designated in the Deed Registry Office of Allegheny County as Block 9-S, Lot 111.
