• Title: NOW THEREFORE BE RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby congratulate Rev. Clement Bose on celebrating this his 90th birthday; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Sunday May 1, 2005 as "Rev. Clement Bose Day" here in the City of Pittsburgh.

WHEREAS, Rev. Clement Bose originally from Alabama has been a Pittsburgh resident since 1917; and,

WHEREAS, Rev. Bose has resided in the same Pittsburgh neighborhood in which he grew up; and,

WHEREAS, Rev. Bose received his education in the Pittsburgh Public School System and worked for many years a Steel worker for US Steel Homestead; and,

WHEREAS, Rev. Bose is an Associate Pastor at  Mount Rise Baptist Church in New Homestead where his talents as a vocalist, piano player and knowledge of music are displayed as choir director; and

WHEREAS, on Sunday May 1, 2005 his family and church family will honor Rev. Clement Bose with a very special surprise 90^th birthday party at Mt. Rise Baptist Church in New Homestead.
