Resolution providing for the extinguishment by the City of Pittsburgh of the rights and privileges retained by the City in Section 6 of Ordinance 192, dated June 23, 1919, approved June 26, 1919, recorded in Ordinance Book, Vol. 30, Page 353, which section gave the City the right and privilege to require demolition of a certain building

Whereas, by Ordinance dated June 23, 1919, approved June 26, 1919, and recorded in Ordinance Book Vol. 30, Page 353, the City of Pittsburgh (“City”) granted to the Estate of Henry Rea, Jr., his heirs, successors and assigns, the right to build, construct, maintain and use a certain brick, steel and concrete warehouse over and across Gasoline Street in the First Ward of the City, subject to the terms and conditions of the Ordinance; and
Whereas, Section 6 of the said Ordinance states, as follows:
The rights herein granted may be cancelled or revoked at any time
hereafter upon twelve months' notice by the Director of the Dep-
artment of Public Works to the Estate of Henry Rea, Jr., his heirs
successors and assigns, and thereupon the said Estate of Henry Rea,
Jr., his heirs, successors and assigns, shall remove the said overhead
warehouse structure from Gasoline Street and replace the same in
good condition under the direction of the Director of the Department
Public Works.
Whereas, a warehouse building was constructed over and across Gasoline Street in accordance with the Ordinance; and
Whereas, Try Street Associates, L.P., has entered into an Agreement of Sale to purchase the warehouse property for the purpose of converting it into a Six Hundred Fifty (650) bed student housing project for use by the Art Institute of Pittsburgh; and
