Resolution vacating a portion of Neff Street in the 19th Ward, 2nd Council District of the City of Pittsburgh.

WHEREAS, it appears by the petition and affidavit on file in the Office of the City Clerk that the owners of all the property fronting or abutting on the line of Neff Street in the 19th Ward, 2nd Council District of the City of Pittsburgh, have petitioned the council of the City of Pittsburgh to enact a resolution for the vacation of same, and
WHEREAS, said petition contains inter-alia, an indemnification of the city from any claims and from the payment of any damages whatsoever resulting to any properties owned by the petitioners or by and persons whatsoever, abutting or non-abutting, for or by reason of said vacation; therefore
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. Vacating a portion of Neff Street as described:
ALL THAT CERTAIN LOT or piece of ground situate in the 19th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, County of Allegheny and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, being part of Neff Street, a 40 foot right-of-way bounded and described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the Westerly line of Neff Street at the dividing line between Block 4-L, Lot Nos. 166 and 167; thence Eastwardly across Neff Street, 40 feet right-of-way North 88° 12' East a distance of 20.0 feet to a point on the center line of Neff Street; thence Northerly along said center line of Neff Street right-of-way North 02° 55' West a distance of 46.82 feet to a point on the Northern line of Neff Street, thence along said Northerly line of Neff Street South 64° 02' West a distance of 21.74 feet to a point at the Northwest corner of Neff Street: thence Southerly along said line of Neff Street South 02° 55' East a distance of 37.92 feet to a point at the dividing line between Block 4-L, Lot Nos. 166 and 167 at the PLACE OF BEGINNING. Containing 847.4 square feet of area.
