WHEREAS, Dr. Anthony D. Hall was a beloved son, husband, father, brother, family member, friend, and member of the Pittsburgh community. Dr. Hall's life touched countless people throughout the City of Pittsburgh and beyond with his kindness, strength, character and the love he shared with those around him; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Hall embodied courage, excitement and commitment for community empowerment. He compassionately uplifted our youth and adults as well. His selflessness and determination in helping each person achieve their dreams and aspirations, leaves behind cherished memories that will continue to inspire all who knew and loved him; and
WHEREAS, throughout his life, Dr. Hall’s passion to educate and elevate all regardless of race, creed, color or economic circumstances - showed his impetuous passion for the communities he served. Although his passing has left an immeasurable void in our hearts, his legacy will live on through his family, friends and the community that continues to celebrate his life and honor his memory; and
WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh joins with the family and loved ones of Dr. Anthony D. Hall in recognizing a lifespan that, while far too brief, made a lasting difference and reminds us to cherish every moment with those we love;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Pittsburgh hereby honors the life and legacy of Dr. Anthony D. Hall. May his memory forever be a blessing, his spirit continues to inspire and his legacy remain alive in the hearts of all who knew him.
