Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Innovation & Performance to enter into a Fellowship Participation Agreement and/or agreement(s) with CORO Pittsburgh at a cost not-to-exceed Eighteen Thousand Dollars ($18,000) over 3 years.

WHEREAS, CORO operates a local fellowship program for the purpose of providing work experiences to young professionals, to perform important community, recreational, planning, sustainable and project management work for municipal agencies and for non-profit organizations; and

WHEREAS, the City wishes to engage CORO Fellows (the “Fellowship”) to carry out such projects; and

WHEREAS, the total cost for the City to engage a CORO Fellow for placements for a 3-year term is $18,000

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows: 

Section 1.  The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Innovation & Performance are hereby authorized to enter into a Fellowship Participation Agreement with CORO Pittsburgh at a cost not-to-exceed Eighteen Thousand Dollars ($18,000) over 3 years. Amounts are chargeable to and payable from the following account:

Section 2:  The agreements or agreements and amendments are subject to the approval of the City Solicitor as to form.

Section 3:  Any ordinance or Resolution or part thereof conflicting with the provisions of this Resolution is hereby repealed so far as the same affects this Resolution.
