Title: NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh acknowledges and commends the work and accomplishments of Ronald F. Maxwell, Mark Bussler, and Inecom Entertainment Company; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby proclaim Tuesday, May 2, 2006 "Horses of Gettysburg Day" in the City of Pittsburgh.

WHEREAS, Inecom Entertainment Company is a Pittsburgh-based company that finances and distributes independent films by partnering with innovative producers and enlisting celebrated talent such as Ronald F. Maxwell, Richard Dreyfuss, Keith Carradine and Gene Wilder; and
 
WHEREAS, the company's latest historical documentary, Horses of Gettysburg, celebrates the honor and courage of the 72,000 horses and mules that fought in the battle of Gettysburg, and will be available for sale nationwide on May 2, 2006; and
 
WHEREAS, Horses of Gettysburg is narrated by Ronald F. Maxwell, director of epic theatrical films such as Gettysburg and Gods & Generals, and is directed by Mark Bussler, a 2003 PITTSBURGH magazine and Pittsburgh Urban Magnet Project (PUMP) "40 Under 40" honoree; and
      
WHEREAS, Horses of Gettysburg and other films that Inecom Entertainment Company distribute bring national attention to the talented workforce that is available in Pittsburgh, and such quality work will continue to draw attention to our region; and
      
WHEREAS, it is indeed fitting to honor Horses of Gettysburg and its producer, Inecom Entertainment Company, for commitment to quality and growth in our region.
