WHEREAS, CLASSIC EVENTS! was created to empower entrepreneurs with essential components for the success of their business, organization or service. Furthermore, giving entrepreneurs a direct marketing platform to gain access and exposure to new business opportunities; and,
WHEREAS, CLASSIC EVENTS! will celebrate its 5th Annual Black History Celebration Dinner with the theme, "SALUTE TO THE BLACK CHURCH". They will also acknowledge those who tragically lost their lives at the Emanuel A.M.E. Church in Charleston, South Carolina; and,
WHEREAS, CLASSIC EVENTS! recognizes the civic, social and humanitarian efforts at this 2016 SALUTE TO THE BLACK CHURCH of all faiths and all churches to include: A.M.E., Apostolic, Baptist, Catholic, Christian, C.O.G.I.C., Episcopalian, Lutheran, Methodist, Muslim, Non-Denominational, Pentecostal, Presbyterian and Seventh-Day Adventist for the historic contributions of each ministry while using the pulpit to advocate on behalf of the underserved and people of color. Each ministry has a lasting imprint on the history of civil rights, economic development, education, health and politics.
