BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PITTSBURGH HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1.  The Director of the Department of Public Safety on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, is hereby authorized to enter into a Contract or Contracts, for the purchase of power/hand tools, ground ladders and firefighting equipment.  The total shall not exceed One Hundred Thousand dollars ($100,000.00) chargeable to and payable from Account 544700, Fund 6100, Organization 250000, Sub-Class PGHPR, Budget Year 2008, Project/Grant #2261200, Bureau of Fire, Department of Public Safety.
